About Fat Snax

We are committed to making the world’s best keto-friendly and low-carb snacks. We launched Fat Snax in April of 2017 and have since become the top-selling cookie in our category online. We have waited over a year to hire for this position, because we believe our only job is creating an incredible snacking experience for the customer. We’re excited to be finally adding to our team someone who can have a massive impact on our company.

The Position

The Community Manager will:

-       Run all social media, including our Instagram (40k +) and our Facebook Group

-       Handle all customer support

-       Organize our influencer programs

-       Manage & support our small direct wholesale accounts

We are looking with someone with a vision for the community strategy of our brand, who can take what we’ve already built and improve it in a way that benefits our community and company.

Ideally, you can work out of our Brooklyn office, however we are open to remote workers with experience working independently. We also prefer candidates that are passionate about the food industry as well as a low-carb or ketogenic lifestyle. Entry level is acceptable if you have a killer work ethic, however we prefer someone with experience in a similar position.

Skills we are looking for:

-       Experience running large Instagram accounts

-       Outgoing social skills

-       Passion for social media

-       Lots of empathy 

-       Attention to detail with outward communication

-       (A little narcissism doesn’t hurt)

Skills we don’t care about:

Multi-tasking, “gets along well with others”, “communication.”
