Role Description

Become a key part of the small but mighty Riff Cold Brewed Coffee team to execute our go-to-market plans and help build out the best new craft beverage brand on the planet!


Help us identify, attract and sign new customers to Riff Cold Brewed Coffee

  • Leverage your relationships, our brand, and a data-driven approach to identify premium retailers, restaurants, bars, and employers to serve Riff Cold Brewed Coffee.

  • Demonstrate world-class sales chops to earn respect, provide expert product knowledge, and be viewed as a trusted partner to your clients and prospective customers.

  • Execute a systematic sales playbook to meet aggressive go-to-market targets, and ensure that you are strategically managing a highly productive sales territory.

Provide world-class service to our customers

  • Onboard new customers with exceptional training, marketing consultation, and technical implementation, testing and troubleshooting

  • Distribute product, conduct educational tasting and mixology seminars and share industry best practice with customers and their staff

  • Ensure customer product mix, inventory levels, invoicing and draft systems are in good status

Be the Riff spokesperson, evangelist & ambassador in the community

  • Plan, organize and attend optimal opportunities to physically represent Riff Cold Brewed Coffee in the community. We’re talking tradeshows, festivals, farmers markets, sporting events, etc.

  • Work with our clients to conduct tastings, samplings, and promotional events

  • Help amplify the Riff Cold Brewed Coffee brand in a fun, yet professional manner

Help create an amazing team, culture, and infrastructure!

  • Since you’re part of a small team you’ll get the opportunity to help in the brewhouse and taproom, participate in setting corporate strategy and the occasional Costco run!

Skills Required

  • Utmost enthusiasm for craft beverage, hospitality industry, and consumer packaged goods

  • Desire and willingness to learn, give and take feedback and challenge conventional thinking

  • Detail and process orientation, data-driven. A great nose for important industry trends

  • A skilled sales professional who operates from the perspective that trusted relationships, a consultative approach and providing a winning solution for your customer is the key to success

  • Strong business and personal judgment

  • Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong critical thinking and discussion skills. Unafraid to advocate for and debate your opinion

  • Self-motivated and highly productive. Someone with an awesome work ethic who can envision, prioritize and complete parallel projects without requiring much guidance in a fast-paced, fluid environment. Excellent multitasking skills without dropping balls

  • Technical dexterity. Ability to work with field equipment such as tap systems, regulators, hoses, and kegs.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit to be part of a small team

  • Socially outgoing, a great sense of humor, smarts, and a positive attitude

  • The ability to consistently come up with new ways to make us better.

Prior Experience

  • At least four years of full-time work experience ideally in an outside sales environment, with demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding quota

  • Hospitality and food & beverage experience preferred

  • Four-year college degree preferred

  • Strong references from clients, co-workers or academic advisors that can attest to your ability to build great relationships and provide world-class service to customers.
