About the Position

As the Manager of Sales Analytics, you will be given the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow as fast as your capabilities and potential allow.  You will be managing decision support for many aspects of the brand’s business, including sales planning by channel, category and promotion management, customer acquisition planning, collaboration on marketing programs, quarterbacking data analytics and generating insights to increase trial, retention, and sales volume.  You will also be responsible for analyzing customer and market trends, identifying the financial and operational drivers that impact the business, and working directly with the executive team in designing and implementing sales execution plans that optimize our growth opportunities and contribution margin.

LIFEAID is a multi-faceted business with different sales channels and customer types.  Our blend of e-commerce, direct-to-business, and distributor revenue channels make us unique in the beverage industry.  There are multiple internal and syndicated data sources that will need to be managed and analyzed.  If you are up for the challenge of a fast paced, entrepreneurial company that continues to double sales volumes year over year, this job is for you.

Job Responsibilities:

-Provide overall administrative and analytic support to sales and executive team

-Work closely with Financial reporting to determine and increase customer profitability

-Work with VP of Sales and executive team on the sales forecast process

-Provide financial and analytic information and support to brokers as needed

-Analyze distribution voids

-Manage price list

-Manage promotional calendar

-Serve as check point for deals that are outside the promotional calendar

-Manage company’s sales regions data and provide analytic reports demonstrating progress against key initiatives

-Account and territory management tracking and reporting to sales team

-Aggregation and analysis of data from multiple platforms including our business intelligence software, SPINS, and other distributor portals and reports

-Work with sales team to create presentations for product reviews with key retailers

-Work closely with VP of Sales by supporting business planning, pricing, budget development, trade promotion, and overall control support

-Serve as liaison between Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Finance

-Work with Finance department to control, validate, code, and process chargebacks and deductions from wholesalers, distributors, and retailers

Job Requirements:

-Mastery of MS Excel

-Data-driven Info Systems acumen necessary to leverage our Looker BI tools

-A willingness to build the architecture for the sales analyst role from the ground up  

-Must come from CPG background, preferably food & beverage

-Must be driven to succeed with a can do attitude and willing to contribute cross functionality

-Willingness to relocate to LIFEAID HQ in world famous Santa Cruz, California.  (You will love it here)

-Position reports directly to the COO
