The #1 Distributor of Red Bull Energy Drink is seeking to fill a Sales Manager position in the Brooklyn Branch. The ideal candidate will bring significant ambition, strong leadership qualities, and a desire to join a winning team.

The Sales Manager position is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in an assigned market. Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base and increase sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the District Managers, KAM’s, and Pre Sell Account Managers.
  • Prepares action plans by route as well as by supervisor for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Conducts one-on-one review with all Pre Sell Account Managers and District Managers to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Pre Sell Account Managers sales performance.
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive reporting on all aspects of performance.
  • Creates and conducts presentations to key accounts and chains.
  • Assists KAM’s and District Managers in preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Recruits, tests, and hires Account Managers based on agreed upon criteria.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years Management experience
  • 3 to 5 years experience in positions related to sales in the beverage industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with any type of company database
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Must have driver's license and own vehicle
