We are seeking a high-performing Sales Representative based in our San Ramon, CA office who brings strong leadership qualities, passion for the food & beverage business, and a desire to be part of a winning team. The position requires a self-motivated, organized, and ambitious person with beverage sales experience to manage our rapidly developing non-alcoholic cocktail beverage brand, Fever-Tree Premium Mixers.
Fever-Tree is now sold in over 35 countries, served in the 7 world’s top 10 restaurants and endorsed by bartenders, drink critics and gastronomes alike. Be a part of a dynamic team that is pioneering the premium mixer category and changing perceptions of cocktail mixers throughout the industry.
The representative will be responsible for directing and supporting distributor sales teams, and working directly with on and off-premise accounts to develop sales of Fever-Tree Premium Mixers within the region.
On-going interaction with distributor management and sales representatives, informing distributor sales personnel about our brand, implementing national strategies and developing/executing local programs.
Meet with key on- and off-premise accounts within the assigned area to develop strong working relationships.
Serve as the primary contact for distributor sales teams to ensure they are informed of our local and national objectives and programs, while providing support for all sales related activities.
Look for opportunities to expand brand visibility via special events within the local market.
Actively participate in events, which often occur in the evenings or weekends.
Maintain calendar of activities and promotions and ensure efficient communications with and/or between distributors and other parties.
Be a driving force behind special projects, such as new item launches, distribution drives, distributor sales incentive programs, verifying distribution, etc.
Minimum of 2 year sales experience in the beverage or food industry (required).
A passion for selling and a desire to roll up your sleeves and get things done
Understands distributor dynamics and how to sell premium brands.
Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with distributors and accounts.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent computer and software skills.
Extremely organized & detail oriented - ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effective under deadlines.
Outgoing, ambitious & committed to team success.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and be able to work and think strategically.
Customer focused, with a passion for the food & beverage industry.
Ability to work weekends and extended days.
Ability to travel 50% of work schedule
Position requires a valid driver’s license and car.
