Unisoy to Debut Vegan Jerky at Fancy Foods Show

LOS ANGELES  Unisoy Foods is set to be in its own category as the only vegan jerky company presenting at the Winter Fancy Food Show. The show, hosted by the Specialty Food Association in San Francisco on January 21-23, 2018, will also be the debut site of a brand new line of Vegan Jerky.

Packed with 21 grams of protein per package, Vegan Jerky is a snack that offers tangible benefits to the growing number of health-conscious consumers. Made with non-GMO and plant-based ingredients, the Vegan Jerky has 90 calories per serving with lower sodium levels compared to other competitors.

But what really sets it apart from the competition is the texture. “We believe we have created the closest texture to real meat versus any other vegan jerky on the market,” says Sarah Bradley of Unisoy Foods. Unisoy Vegan Jerky rips, tears, and chews so much like real meat jerky, even professed omnivores have had trouble distinguishing the taste and texture from the “real” thing.

The jerky is available in three classic flavors:

  • Black Pepper – Made with cracked black and white peppercorns for a medium kick of flavor.
  • Spicy – The boldest flavor yet, made with crushed Szechuan peppers and chili powder that unite to create a delectably spicy flavor.
  • Teriyaki – Glazed with an all-natural sweet and savory teriyaki sauce.

All three flavors will be available for sampling at the Winter Fancy Food Show booth #1762 in the North Hall and will be displayed in the “What’s New, What’s Hot” portion of the show.
