Sue’s Organics to Debut ‘Awesome Sauce’ Line at Fancy Food Show

REDWAY, Calif. — It is no secret that millennials have tremendous buying power. It is estimated that this demographic has purchasing power of over $200 billion. While research shows that millennials are looking for authentic experiences, a new study shows that 60% don’t know how to make their own salad dressing. This reality offers incredible opportunity for the condiment market which reached $24 billion in 2016 and is estimated to grow at least 2% year over year through 2021. One major trend driving this growth: a millennial taste for diverse flavors as new twists on sauces and condiments.

Sue’s Organics Awesome Sauces and Salad Dressings, which offer millennials the organic, gourmet experience as well as the exciting new flavors they are looking for, will be making their gourmet channel debut at the Summer Fancy Foods Show SAVOR CALIFORNIA BOOTH — # 2674 at the Javits Center in New York, NY June 30 – July 2, 2018.

Sue Moloney began her vegan catering company in 1996. After many years of running a successful catering business and perfecting her recipes, people began to ask her for her sauces. They simply could not wait until the next event. So, in 2010 she began the journey to bottling her Humboldt-county-famous sauces and dressing.

“It all happened so naturally,” said Sue Moloney founder of Sue’s Organics. “I would get home from an event that I catered and would receive a flood of messages to the effect of ‘where can I get this sauce?!, it was so good’ After a while I felt that I almost had to bottle my sauces to keep the people happy.”

Today, Sue’s Organicscreates four vegan, gluten-free, certified organic products with no added sugar or canola oil that offer a unique and enticing twist on healthy salad dressings:

Terrific Organic Tahini —perfect for salads, rice dishes, raw veggies and more. The nutty sesame seed flavor paired with the tang of apple cider vinegar and garlic will make your meal come alive.

Classic Organic Curry —drench your noodles or stir-fried veggies with this awesome sauce for an exotic delight. This sauce is crafted from a beautifully balanced oil & vinegar base and blended with traditional curry spices.

Organic Audacious Ginger Miso — to brighten up your salads, steamed veggies or entrees. The miso and tahini give it an earthy base, while the ginger offers a little bit of fire.

Nutritional Feast Dipping Sauce — a lusciously creamy spread or veggie dip that has the rich satisfying flavor of chipotle paired with the health benefits of tangy nutritional yeast.

Sue’s Organic’s Awesome Sauce was selected as a finalist for the 2017 NEXTY Awards. Here’s what the judge’s panel had to say: “We’re enamored with the possibilities of this uniquely flavored savory dipping sauce made from organic sunflower oil, soymilk, apple cider vinegar, nutritional yeast, tamari and spices. The vegan, gluten-free spread is just as delicious on sandwiches and crackers as it is stirred into steamed veggies or pasta. We also enjoyed Sue’s Organics tahini, curry and ginger miso sauce.”
