Ithaca Cold-Crafted Expands into The Fresh Market and Launches New Classic Hummus

ITHACA, N.Y. — Ithaca Cold-Crafted, creators of the first hummus to deliver authentically fresh flavors by using only real ingredients and HPP, announced today that they have gained distribution into The Fresh Market. This marks their largest expansion outside of the Northeast since launching the premium line of distinctly fresh and flavorful hummus at Wegmans in 2015.

In addition to growing distribution, Ithaca Cold-Crafted is also releasing a new Classic flavor designed to offer an introductory experience of the Ithaca brand to first time consumers.

“The new Classic flavor is incredible, with a touch more tahini than the rest of our hummus and just a hint of spice. It’s more of an Israeli style hummus than our Fresh Lemon Garlic flavor, which was inspired by a Lebanese variation,” said Kirby, a former chef and self-proclaimed flavor fanatic. “My passion for creating great tasting food is constantly fueled by the reaction I get when people taste it and freak out over how good it is. I can’t wait for this flavor to hit the shelf; the feedback is going to be insane!”
