Bono Releases New Line of Extra Virgin Olive Oils and Marmalades

FAIRFIELD, N.J. — Bono, the largest producer of extra virgin olive oil in Sicily, presented its new line of organic olive oils and marmalades at Natural Products Expo West at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., from March 8 – 10.

Bono’s products include multi award-winning Sicilian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Sicilian Val Di Mazara Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Both oils boast Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) certifications, which are a guarantee of authenticity from the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forest Policies.

The company is the U.S. arm of a family-owned business established in 1934. The organic citrus marmalade flavors include blood orange, orange, and lemon. They are made with fresh fruit cultivated in eastern Sicily, and are low in sugar. Bono also offers a line of Sicilian olives, and other extra virgin olive oils.
