PASADENA, Calif. — Since starting at the Venice Beach Farmer’s Market in 2014, Gustus Vitae (translation from Latin: Taste of Life) has been renewed as the go-to boutique crafter of artisan sea salts and gourmet spice blends.
Using locally sourced all natural ingredients, each finishing salt and seasoning is made just like it always was: carefully, laboriously, and in small batches, before being hand-packed in their unique magnetic tins.
Knowing every step in the chain from living plant to finished product has been key since the early days at the Farmer’s Market, and Gustus Vitae has recently been awarded the Non GMO Project seal, verifying the integrity and wholesomeness of their ingredients, processes, and products.
