NEW YORK, June 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Milkboy Swiss Chocolate, producer of gourmet chocolate bars will be sampling three new flavors June 26-28 at Booth # 3928 at the Fancy Food Show at the Javits Center in NYC. The one –and- a- half -year-old company has received a lot of attention since its arrival on the US premium chocolate bar scene. Milkboy, who manufactures all of its fine chocolate bars in Switzerland, has worked hard to renew the stature of Swiss Chocolate in the U.S.. The results include gaining distribution from coast to coast, placement in the country’s most exclusive retailers and being named a sofi™ finalist as for outstanding chocolate 2015.

“Quality has brought us a long way in a short time,” says Milkboy founder Emanuel Schmerling, “Now to be back in New York Fancy Food show and sampling our three new flavors to a very appreciative audience for authentic Swiss Chocolate, makes me so proud of what we have brought together.”

Milkboy flavors are both inspired by the Alps and the desire to be traditional, but on trend with what customers are buying. With innovation driving the gourmet chocolate business, Milkboy has expanded its core line to include a Milkboy Extra Dark 85% Cacao, Milkboy Finest Alpine Milk Chocolate with refreshing Lemon and Ginger, and Milkboy Finest Alpine Milk Chocolate with crunchy Caramel and Sea Salt. “We have created one of the smoothest high percentage bars imaginable,” continued Schmerling, “the two new milk chocolates represent our first venture into inclusions and the results are receiving rave reviews.”

The company also produces a White Chocolate with Bourbon Vanilla to expose the US market to what white chocolate is supposed to be like. “It is the luscious milk from Switzerland that makes the difference,” the third-generation chocolate producer shared. The Milkboy brand commemorates the historic figure of the Milkboy, who leads the cattle every spring up to the high mountain pastureland, where they happily munch away on juicy green grass and breathe the purest air. They produce some of the finest quality milk available, milk for whichSwitzerland is famous for. This, combined with finest quality cocoa beans, is what makes Milkboy Swiss Chocolate so exceptional.

The packaging has been singled out for outstanding design and being eye-catching on the shelf. Utilizing the Swiss folk art of paper-cutting, the artistry depicts classic scenes from the Swiss countryside and the celebrations that are held in the villages at the end of the summer, marking the descent of the Milkboy and his herd from the mountain pastures.

Milkboy Swiss Chocolate maintains its US headquarters in Brooklyn, New York and has a warehouse in New Jersey for easy shipping across the country.
