At BetterBody Foods (BBF), we believe making better food choices contributes to a happy and healthy life. We are committed to providing the best organic and natural foods for cooking, baking, health and wellness. Our goal is to teach our customers about BetterBody Foods Founder and CEO Stephen Richards has always loved to cook. Coming from a family of diabetics, he is always looking for better ways to manage his diet and health. He understand that better foods make better bodies. In 2007 Stephen was introduced to agave nectar and was immediately impressed. He traveled to the central region of Mexico where agave is grown and spent time with the farmers and industry experts there learning about the product and its benefits. After several years, Stephen had developed his own brand of agave nectar and began selling it to small local retailers. BetterBody Foods was born. As the business began to grow, Stephen continued his search for new healthy foods. He saw how cooking with coconut oil could truly revolutionize how you eat. With help from coconut growers in the Philippines, India and Sri Lanka he brought organic coconut oil, and later coconut flour and coconut palm sugar, into the BetterBody Foods family of products. Currently, the company has expanded to more than 80 employees and operates a 100,000 square foot organic certified facility located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Lindon, Utah. BetterBody Foods products range from superfoods like Chia and Quinoa to PB Fit, a delicious, low fat powdered peanut butter. Stephen continues to ensure that all new products contribute to his original vision for the company: becoming an internationally recognized brand of high-quality, value priced natural and organic products that make a difference in people’s lives.
