GoodWest Industries LLC, founded in 2004, with production facilities in Pennsylvania and Utah, is a nationally recognized supplier of aseptic dairy and dispensed beverage solutions for the Convenience, Foodservice, Coffee and Specialty Channels within the away-from-home food industry space. Building on our continuing success, GoodWest Industries, under new professional management and ownership, seeks to aggressively and responsively grow within the United States. Our unique capabilities and continuous re-investment in the company have created an immediate need for three experienced and customer focused Regional Sales Managers (RSM’s).
The primary objective for the RSM is the sale to and management of local and regional away from home foodservice entities within defined geographic territories. The RSM’s will develop and execute sales strategies, customer and volume targets, and develop sustainable business relationships with essential customers. The RSM’s will possess a measure of expertise within multiple channels of the away from home space including; Convenience, Hospitality, Acute Care, Higher Education, Commercial and Non-commercial Foodservice, and Distribution. The RSM will fulfill the duties of the position with passion and energy.
- Forecast, build and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with essential and targeted strategic customers. Plans to include accelerating current base business through introductions of new products and the continued development of new business and product opportunities.
- Consistently deliver or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales plan objectives (dispensers, case sales, funnel reporting, distribution) while increasing share of wallet with existing Regional and National Accounts and distributors within the defined territory.
- The RSM is responsible for understanding local and regional customers and is expected to recommend new products and selling strategies.
- Responsible for working collaboratively with GoodWest supply chain, operations, finance, sales and executive management teams.
This is a home office based position. RSM’s must be willing and able to travel up to 70% of time. Preferred RSM candidates will currently reside in Texas, California, or Florida or within 30 minutes of a major metropolitan area/airport within the territory.Education and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 or more years direct selling experience in Away from Home Food Service channels.
- Experienced in working at a regional level and handling multiple-state territories.
- Experience in working with direct and indirect distribution models.
- Experienced in both long and short selling cycles.
- Experienced in public speaking, presentation, solution selling and relationship management.
- Experience with MS Office suite and CRM programs.
- Ability to deliver results while working in an unstructured and changing environment.
- Prior dairy and or beverage experience preferred.
- An appreciation of coffee preferred.
- Business travel experience required.
- Culinary acumen preferred.
