Roles and Responsibilities
Participant in Food Safety team to include HACCP training and relevant certifications.
Ensure customer required documentation is collected, reviewed, and approved by established deadlines.
Collaboration with Formulation Analyst, coordinators, and Production Supervisors to ensure safe compliant production to the specifications.
Responsible for system to verify micro data and results.
HPLC testing and machine maintenance either in-house or 3rd party.
Ensure materials for sample testing are available and current.
Result analysis and training of Batch Analyst and technicians.
Lead the department when the QA Manager is not available.
Responsible for completing relevant employee evaluations of employees.
Maintain staffing and training matrix to ensure coverage with capable skills.
Be the lead for customer audits and a key point of contact for customer requests with regard to specifications, results, and relevant documents.
Good floor presence and lab to ensure expectations are being demonstrated.
Responsible for Food Quality.
Responsible for Food Safety.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four year college or university is required; Science or Biology degree is preferred, with five to ten years plant beverage manufacturing experience.
Previous plant supervisory experience is desired, and hot fill, juice manufacturing experience is preferred.
Must be able to write clearly and informatively, and be able to read and interpret written information
