Responsibilities include; food safety and quality management systems which comply with all regulatory, SQF, ISO, and customer requirements and maintaining our quality document systems. Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of the finished product. Direct and manage quality assurance department employees engaged in inspection and testing activities.  Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability. Coordinate and investigate customer complaints regarding quality. Train and oversee compliance in GMP, HACCP and other food safety issues.  Meet with customers and ensure compliance to specification and satisfaction. Formulate and maintain quality assurance objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant management to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
